Alison Doody

Alison Doody is an Irish model and actress. She was born on November 11, 1966. Her debut in a feature film was a small part in The James Bond film A View to a Kill. (1985). Then, later she played the Nazi-sympathising archaeologist Elsa Schneider (Indiana Jones and in the Last Crusade 1989). Siobhan Donavan played the role featured in A Prayer for the Dying in 1987, Charlotte played Taffin (in 1998) as well as Rebecca Flannery played Major League II. Doody became a model after her being approached by a hopeful photographer. She has since evolved into commercial modelling. Doody was extremely cautious about doing the glamorous work or doing nude. The same rule continued into the acting profession. After being spotted by of the casting director of the upcoming James Bond film she accepted the role of Jenny Flex in 1985's A View to a Kill. She worked with Pierce Brosnan as Dr. Elsa Schneider, an Austrian Nazi sympathizer as well as a archaeologist for forensics in the movie Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade. Doody was in the film alongside Sean Connery, who played Indiana Jones' father. After nearly a decade from the screen Doody returned to acting by playing a minor role in the 2003 British comedy movie The Actors with Michael Caine as her character in the award ceremony scene. Doody was a co-star, along with Patrick Swayze, in the 2004 TV film adaptation of King Solomon's Mines. in 2010 Doody shot a part on Danny Dyer's feature film The Rapture (2010). In 2011, she was to be the main character for The Asphyx remake, but the project was cancelled. Pam Jefferson, the character she played on E4's comedy Beaver Falls during its first season, which ran for two seasons. In 2014, she starred as Pam Jefferson on We Still Kill the Old Way. The 21st of November, 2018, she was honored by the Almeria Tierra de Cine award and she received the honor of a star on the Almeria Walk of Fame.
